Still Alive™

(Sorry, just couldn’t help making a reference to one of my favorite game songs. And sorry that it’s in Flash.)

Anyway, yes I’m still alive and I’m back. Sort of.

I really didn’t totally disappear, but my website, and thus my blog, did. Now I have a new site, with a new domain as well (thanks to a friend)! This new site is done fully in Textpattern, no longer a mish-mash of WordPress, Gallery2, and my own static HTML. It’s definitely still a work in progress though, so changes will, not may, happen, probably even an overhaul (I apologize in advance if my RSS feed goes a bit wonky).

Anyway, re-introductions are perhaps in order. I’ve been a KDE user since 2006, right when I first started using GNU/Linux (back then, started with Kubuntu). My main area of contribution ever since then has been user support, both in Kubuntu and KDE, and have continued that whatever distro I’m using (now Fedora). I’ve also submit a few patches here and there, ranging from one line fixes to new features. My contributions have mostly been in Konversation and Yakuake.

Now I plan to take my contributions up a notch. Aside from continuing to help on those two apps I’ve mentioned, I also have some app ideas I’ve been playing around with for some time now. Nothing earth-shattering. Mostly just “twists” to old ideas.

Hopefully, this time I can keep this site alive (You can read more about me and this website in the About section).
